Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026. This policy covers codex.authorityagent.io and the Category Codex engagement, both operated by Capture the Conversation LLC ("we", "us"), Longmont, Colorado, United States.
What we collect
On this website. This is a static marketing site. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics tags, no advertising pixels, and no session tracking. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and user agent as part of that request. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs including IP address, user agent, and requested path for operational and security purposes.
At checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, and card details, and we never see or store full card numbers. We receive your name, email address, and the fact and amount of the transaction.
When you book a call. Scheduling runs through OneCal, which collects the name, email address, and any notes you enter when booking.
During the engagement. To produce your Category Codex we collect what you send us and what you say: your website and public profiles, prior positioning or brand documents, proposals and sales emails you choose to share, customer names you volunteer, and the recording and transcript of your Carter interview.
How we use it
We use this information to deliver the engagement you paid for, to produce your Category Codex and Gap analysis, to invoice you and honor the guarantee, and to answer your email. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Sub-processors
Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Google Workspace (email and documents), OneCal (scheduling), and the AI model providers used to run our interview and drafting systems. Interview content processed by model providers is sent under agreements that prohibit training on that content.
Your material stays yours
Your Category Codex, your interview transcript, and the raw material you supply belong to you. We do not publish client work, name clients, or reuse client language in another client's deliverable without written permission.
Retention
Engagement materials are retained while you are a client and for two years afterward so we can re-issue your Codex on request. Payment records are retained for seven years to meet US tax and accounting requirements. Ask us to delete engagement materials sooner and we will, except where the law requires we keep the financial record.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email james@capturetheconversation.com and we will respond within thirty days. California residents may exercise CCPA rights through the same address; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. UK and EU residents may exercise UK GDPR and GDPR rights through the same address.
Children
This service is sold to businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Contact james@capturetheconversation.com with any privacy question.
